• Golf carts are available for all BOYNE Golf courses except Doon Brae, which is walking only.
• Single carts: If your twosome wants to split up, and we can fulfill your request to each take a single cart, a $31 fee will be charged for a second cart.
• Cart ride-alongs: We will do our best to accommodate your request to have a non-golfer ride along with you, but on busy days, we cannot guarantee it.

The golf shops will follow the course opening schedule. Hours will vary.

The driving range and practice greens will follow the course opening schedule and golf shop hours.

Yes, golf instruction is offered at each course and through the award-winning BOYNE Golf Academy, located at The Highlands. Please see our BOYNE Golf Academy page for details.

Club rental is available for $70 per set. We utilize men’s and ladies' Callaway golf clubs. Supply is limited. Please call the appropriate golf shop ahead of your round to reserve.

Yes, each course has at least two restrooms located throughout all 18 holes.

Water stations are available on the course. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle for hydration.

Yes. With a wide variety of layouts—from beginner-friendly options to championship-level venues, and six tee locations on our championship courses and 3 teeing areas on Doon Brae—golfers of every ability can enjoy a great round.

Absolutely. While many guests choose our stay-and-play packages, tee times are also available for non-resort guests, and special “tee time deals” are offered throughout the season.

For peak-season visits (late spring through fall), we recommend booking early for the best availability, especially for multi-course itineraries. Our tee sheets are currently open to book your 2026 rounds.

The closest major airport is Traverse City’s Cherry Capital Airport (TVC), offering non-stop service from 20 U.S. destinations through Delta, United Airlines, American, Allegiant, Jet Blue, Sun Country, and Avelo. Service is also offered into Pellston Regional Airport, located 15 minutes from The Highlands, through Delta and United Airlines.
